My opinion is mine. I do not speak for anyone else. I believe I am right but I admit I could be wrong.
“Should we tolerate intolerance? Tolerance is a virtue. Without tolerance, society could not function and we would descend into anarchy. But should we tolerate those who are intolerant to others? Those who wish or do harm to others should not be tolerated but those who simply disagree should be tolerated even if we think they are crazy! It is a Catch-22 deal. Tolerance means to ‘bear with repugnance’ so tolerance does not mean acceptance. You are not required to accept everyone but you should tolerate everyone. I do not mean anyone any harm even if they are mean-spirited and hateful as long as people are not a physical threat to others they should be free to speak their minds. I know this may not be popular with some but politics is a dirty game and a rule of thumb is not to get into a squirting contest with skunks. What I want to forbearance. I do not know why people act the way they do, but I try not to judge others if I can help it.
I consider myself a follower of Jesus Christ who preached love and tolerance. I know I am not perfect and I do not claim to have all answers. All I know is what my experiences have taught me. Right or Wrong. Amen!”
